We have just over one week left before we leave Umbria and as well as attempting to begin to close everything up, we are trying to get out and enjoy the fact that we are in Italy. We went to the wonderful antique market in Arezzo last Sunday despite the fact that it was sprinkling off and on all day. If you ever have the chance to visit the market is held on the first weekend (Saturday and Sunday) of each month, and the stands are placed throughout the town.

We started harvesting our olives Tuesday and picked for two full days before we took them to the mill to be pressed into oil. We still have thirty trees left to pick, but rain, and my coming down ill have postponed the rest of our harvest until next week. We had two glorious days with warmer than average temperatures while we harvested olives, but the weather is now back to what we would normally expect for fall here in Umbria, rainy and cool.
